Four Systems, One Land Transition
Each system is distinct.
Together, they rebuild a working landscape.
OUR FOUR SYSTEMS
Native Regeneration | Agroforestry | Silvoculture | Niche
At ClimateForce, we work across four integrated land systems. Each one has a distinct function, and each one is part of the same transition. Native regeneration rebuilds the ecological foundation. Agroforestry layers production into that structure. Silviculture establishes long-term timber and canopy value. Niche cropping opens space for community and economic resilience. Together, they form a replicable model for how degraded tropical land can be restored and put to productive, culturally grounded use.
NATIVE REGENERATION
Rebuilding the ecological structure of degraded land for both biodiversity and carbon.
Spacing:
Varied density (1500-3500sph) for rapid canopy closure, under different costing frameworks.
Species:
High diversity of native rainforest species, drawn from local provenance.
A-B Framework Methodology.
Go to market:
Nature Repair Market credits. Scope 3 removals. Philanthropic restoration.
Government and Wet Tropics co-funding.
AGROFORESTRY (Blended System)
Integrating productive tree species with under-story crops to create layered systems
Spacing:
Durian at 12×12m. Cacao at 4×4m, under shade-tree rows at 2,500sph, Turmeric understorey.
Species:
Durian, cacao and turmeric as the yield layer.
Native shade and functional "mother trees" carrying the canopy.
Go to market:
Fresh durian export into SE Asia. Single-origin ClimateForce Cacao. Organic Certified Turmeric.
Offtake contracts through CF Ventures.
Silvopasture
Integrating high-value timber species, forage and livestock in the same system
Spacing:
12m wide timber rows. Existing pasture retained for rotational grazing underneath.
Species:
Tropical hardwoods: red cedar, black bean, northern silky oak, Queensland maple, teak.
Improved pasture and livestock grazing options.
Go to market:
Livestock income generated from start. Specialty timber harvest at staged timeline.
Niche Cropping
Cultivating high-value specialty crops suited to tropical conditions
Spacing:
Intensive hedgerows and beds. Lemon myrtle and Moringa at 2×3m. Turmeric inter-row
Species:
Lemon myrtle (Backhousia citriodora), Moringa (Moringa oleifera), Turmeric (Curcuma longa). Interplanted.
Go to market:
Direct market sales, value-added products, community livelihood pathways.
