Transparency & Trust: Inside the ClimateForce Impact Dashboard

There’s something powerful about seeing things for yourself.

Not in a report. Not in a social media caption. But in the living, breathing progress of a place being restored — piece by piece, tree by tree, system by system.

That’s why we built the ClimateForce Impact Dashboard. This dashboard isn’t just about metrics. It’s about inviting you into the journey - not just to see what’s been done, but to track what’s unfolding.

Let us take you for a walk through it.

Working Systems: The Beating Heart of Regeneration

When you first land on the dashboard, you’ll arrive at Working Systems — our digital control room.

This isn’t a fantasy forest. It’s a real off-grid restoration hub, and here’s where you’ll see what it takes to keep it running.

Solar arrays. Nursery water systems. Energy Systems. Systems Design. Everything that powers our operations is laid out - because growing a forest from scratch isn’t just a planting exercise. It’s a whole infrastructure ecosystem, and it’s humming quietly in the background, every day.

Here, you can see how energy moves, how seedlings are nurtured, and how systems are scaled to meet the growing demands of land, people, and progress.

Leaderboard: Your Tree. Your Name. Your Legacy.

One of our favourite corners of the dashboard is the Leaderboard — a live, searchable tribute to everyone who’s supported putting roots in the ground with us.

When you sponsor a tree, you’re not just donating. You’re becoming part of a living map. You can search your name (or your organisation's), click through, and zoom in to the exact location of your tree within the planting site. You'll see what species you supported, where it was planted, and how it's faring as part of the wider system.

It’s more than symbolic. It’s tangible. A digital handshake between you and the land.

The leaderboard makes it personal. And we believe that’s what restoration needs more of - a sense of real, visible, lasting connection.

Species Explorer: More Than Just a Name Tag

This tab is where our inner plant nerds (and proud of it) come alive. The Species tab lets you dive into every species we’ve planted across our restoration zones — from rainforest giants to lesser-known support species.

It’s not just a list. It’s a living field guide that shows you how each species is distributed, what roles they play in the system, and how they can be used — whether for fruit, fibre, shade, soil building, or habitat restoration.

You can trace where particular trees appear in the landscape. You can learn about their cultural uses, their ecological functions, and why they were chosen.

Restoration isn’t random. It’s a carefully woven tapestry — and the Species tab shows you part of this thread.

Infrastructure: What It Really Takes

This is the part most people never see — and exactly why we wanted to include it.

The Infrastructure tab pulls back the curtain on all the built systems that make an off-grid regenerative operation possible. Think networks, water lines, nursery tables, field shelters, solar systems, toilets, amenities, and tool sheds.

It may not sound glamorous, but it’s the backbone of everything we do.

We don’t just grow forests. We build the systems that allow them to be planted, managed, monitored, and adapted — even in remote, difficult terrain. This tab honours that work. The quiet foundations that make all the growth above ground possible.

Culture: The Soul of the System

Regeneration isn’t only about ecology. It’s also about people, stories, memory, and belonging.

The Culture tab connects you to the deeper threads of what makes this work meaningful. From ceremonial planting days and youth-led programs to elder–youth knowledge exchange and collaborative research, this space links to articles that explore the values, ethics, and lived experiences behind the project.

It’s where we talk about circular thinking, cultural memory, community events, ethical supply chains, and everything else that makes a restoration site feel alive beyond the trees.

Because a forest without people is a wilderness. And a project without culture is just a spreadsheet.

Progress: See the Change, Swipe by Swipe

Finally, the Progress tab invites you to see the transformation unfold.

Using a swipe overlay, you can compare what the land looked like before planting began — and what it looks like now.

It’s one thing to say “the forest is growing.” It’s another to see it in motion: canopy cover closing in, species layering out, light and shadow playing across what used to be bare grassland.

This tab is where all the pieces come together — the infrastructure, the trees, the species, the systems — and where you start to feel the momentum.

Not just hope. Progress.

Why We Built This — And Why It’s Just the Beginning

We didn’t build this dashboard as a way to report back. We built it as a way to invite people in.

To learn.
To question.
To celebrate.
To hold us accountable.
To feel part of a living system they’re helping to create.

Whether you’re a donor, a researcher, a student, a funder, or simply a curious human - this dashboard is for you. It’s a shared window into what’s working, what we’re learning, and how we’re growing forward.

So click in. Zoom around. Explore what it takes to build a forest from seed.
And if you feel inspired, there’s a tree with your name on it - waiting to become a part of this story.
